Sustainability Coordinator
The City of Santa Fe is seeking a highly motivated Sustainability Coordinator to help advance the City’s climate, energy, and resilience goals through data-driven action and community-focused implementation.
This position is part of the City’s newly formed Conservation and Sustainability Division, which is organized around three integrated sections: Water Conservation, Sustainability, and Keep Santa Fe Beautiful.
The Sustainability Coordinator will support citywide efforts to achieve carbon neutrality, ecological resilience, social equity, and a high quality of life, with a strong emphasis on energy systems and emissions reduction.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in:
- Energy tracking, benchmarking, and performance analysis
- Building energy efficiency, retrofits, and electrification
- Greenhouse gas emissions inventories, data collection, and modeling
- Renewable energy and clean energy program implementation
- Sustainable and low-carbon transportation systems
- Climate goal setting, progress reporting, and technical analysis
- Grant writing, grant management, and policy development
